GOLFER'S ELBOW TREATMENT

Pain on the inside of your elbow can make gripping, lifting, carrying groceries, or even turning a doorknob uncomfortable. At Bayview North Family Chiropractic, we take the time to understand what's contributing to your symptoms by assessing your elbow, wrist, shoulder, neck, and movement patterns. From there, we'll create a personalized treatment plan designed to improve function, reduce discomfort, and help you get back to doing the activities you enjoy.
WHAT IS GOLFER'S ELBOW?

Golfer's Elbow, also known as medial epicondylitis, is an overuse condition affecting the tendons that attach your forearm muscles to the inside of your elbow. Although it's commonly associated with golf, it frequently develops from repetitive gripping, lifting, manual work, or everyday activities that place repeated stress on the forearm muscles and tendons. Over time, this can lead to irritation, tenderness, and pain along the inside of the elbow.

Pain or tenderness on the inner side of your elbow
-
Pain that worsens with gripping or lifting
-

HOW WE TREAT GOLFER'S ELBOW AT BAYVIEW NORTH FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC

Your care begins with a thorough assessment of your elbow, wrist, shoulder, neck, and movement patterns to better understand what's contributing to your symptoms. Based on your assessment findings, your treatment plan may include targeted soft tissue therapy, gentle joint mobilizations or chiropractic adjustments when clinically appropriate, and rehabilitative exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and tendon resilience. For chronic tendon conditions that haven't responded to rest alone, Shockwave Therapy, or Low Level Laser Therapy may also be recommended to help support the healing process.
We'll also provide practical activity modification strategies and ergonomic recommendations to help reduce strain during work, sports, and everyday activities.
