FOOT PAIN TREATMENT

Foot pain can affect every step you take, making walking, exercising, standing for long periods, or even getting out of bed uncomfortable. At Bayview North Family Chiropractic, we take the time to understand what's contributing to your symptoms by assessing your feet, ankles, knees, hips, posture, and movement patterns. From there, we'll create a personalized treatment plan designed to improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and help you move with greater confidence.
WHAT CAUSES FOOT PAIN?

Foot pain can develop for many different reasons. Muscle and ligament strains, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, tendon injuries, nerve irritation, overuse, and changes in foot mechanics can all contribute to discomfort. Because the feet work closely with the ankles, knees, hips, and lower back, problems elsewhere in the body can also influence how your feet move and feel.
COMMON SYMPTOMS WE SEE
-
Heel or arch pain
-
Ball-of-foot pain
-
Pain around the toes
-
Pain with standing or walking
-
Stiffness, swelling, burning or tingling

WHY AN ASSESSMENT MATTERS

Foot pain isn't always caused by the spot that hurts. Changes in your walking pattern, ankle mobility, hip strength, or lower back function can all place additional stress on the feet. A thorough assessment helps identify what's contributing to your symptoms so treatment can be focused where it's needed most.
HOW WE HELP MANAGE FOOT PAIN AT BAYVIEW NORTH FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC

Your care begins with a thorough assessment of your feet, ankles, lower limbs, posture, and movement patterns to better understand what's contributing to your symptoms. Based on your assessment findings, your treatment plan may include gentle chiropractic adjustments when clinically appropriate, targeted soft tissue therapy, mobility and strengthening exercises, and practical footwear and activity recommendations.
For certain chronic soft tissue conditions, Shockwave Therapy may also be recommended when clinically appropriate.
