VERTIGO TREATMENT

At Bayview North Family Chiropractic, we understand how disruptive dizziness and balance problems can be. Our goal is to identify what's contributing to your symptoms—whether they're related to the inner ear, your neck, posture, or a combination of factors—so we can create a personalized treatment plan that's right for you.
WHAT IS VERTIGO?

Vertigo is more than just feeling dizzy. It often feels like you or your surroundings are spinning or moving, even when you're standing still. One of the most common causes is Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), a condition affecting the inner ear. In some cases, dizziness and balance problems can also be influenced by joint or muscle dysfunction in the neck. Understanding what's contributing to your symptoms is an important first step in choosing the most appropriate treatment.
COMMON SYMPTOMS WE SEE
-
Spinning sensation
-
Loss of balance or imbalance
-
Nausea of vomitting
-
Sensitivity to motion
-
Lightheadedness

The Epley Maneuver is a series of movements that can help with certain types of vertigo, including BPPV. Because the positioning matters, we recommend having our team guide you through it first so you feel confident doing it correctly at home.
